Intra-oral Camera
An intra-oral camera is a small, hand-held camera that allows your dentist to capture clear, detailed views inside your mouth—areas that can be difficult to see with a mirror alone.
The image can be displayed on a screen so you can see the tooth, gum or restoration being discussed. This makes it easier for us to explain a concern, answer your questions and talk through appropriate treatment options together.
When appropriate, captured images can be added to your confidential patient record for future reference and ongoing monitoring.

Digital X-Ray
Digital radiography uses electronic sensors to capture images of teeth and the supporting structures around them. These images appear quickly, allowing your dentist to examine areas that cannot always be assessed through a visual examination alone.
Digital imaging can use less radiation than conventional film-based radiography while producing detailed images efficiently. Your dentist recommends X-rays only when they are clinically appropriate, based on factors such as your symptoms, age, oral health, history and individual risk.
