Can you copy a smile from a photo I bring?+
A picture can guide the discussion, but your tooth position, bite, enamel and facial proportions all differ from those of the person shown. The design would be planned for you, so an exact copy is not the aim.
Are veneers done without touching the teeth real?+
Many veneers need some enamel preparation, and the amount varies with position, material and design. Minimal preparation is not the same as reversible, so ask what would be proposed in your case.
Why do some veneers I see online look bulky?+
A shade that is too bright for the person, or added thickness with too little room, can create an artificial look. Previewing the shape and controlling preparation are meant to help avoid that.
What are composite veneers, compared with what I see on social media?+
Composite is resin layered and sculpted directly onto the tooth, while porcelain is made outside the mouth. Posts do not always say which one is shown, so ask how each would behave on your teeth.
Can veneers make my teeth look as white as those in videos?+
Shade is chosen in planning, and your dentist can talk through how bright a colour would look against your face and neighbouring teeth. Lighting and editing can also make teeth in videos appear brighter than they are.
