We live elsewhere in Manitoba. How do we arrange a visit?+
Send the form on this page or phone (204) 338-3003, and let us know you’ll be travelling. The clinic will follow up, and your appointment is set only once that conversation has happened.
Can everything my child needs be done in one trip?+
That can’t be known before an assessment. It depends on what the dentist finds and how your child manages, so more than one visit may be recommended.
How often will we have to make the trip?+
Recall timing is individual, reflecting development, cavity risk, hygiene and treatment so far. Share your travel situation so it can be part of the discussion.
Should we bring dental records from our previous clinic?+
Details of earlier treatment are helpful, and X-rays may be relevant too. Ask us about getting these transferred before you travel.
What if something urgent happens after we’ve gone home?+
Call the clinic instead of using the online form and describe what happened. For a serious facial injury, loss of consciousness, heavy bleeding that can’t be controlled or trouble breathing, get emergency medical care first.
Is it worth making a trip for a baby or toddler?+
Early assessment is recommended by the Canadian Dental Association: within six months of a first tooth or by 12 months old. Those visits are largely about prevention and support for caregivers.
